Moira Rogers has a knack for pulling you into a story no matter how short it is. Wild Card is no exception. This one is short, about 60 or so pages I think, but there is just enough packed into it to make you want more. It's not that these short novellas don't come to a satisfying end or contain enough heat to hold anyone's interest, it's just that you get so wrapped up in the characters that you want to see where they end up from where their story ends. *sigh* It's not going to stop me from reading them though. I consider myself addicted. I personally think it's a ploy to get us to read more. If so, I'm not arguing. I will be checking out Down and Dirty 2 in the very near future.
